Justin Newcomer, Joe Horvath and Chad Doan
combined to go a perfect 17-for-17 from the field
as the Street Kids/Easton/PAS softball team
swept Eddie's Steak Shed on Thursday night to
win their 20th straight league game. It was their
fifth win in a row overall and their 62nd win of the
season. They have won 24 of their last 25 games,
as they saw their 19 game winning streak snapped
in the finals of the winners bracket during Flag
Day on Sunday.
Jay Jeffery and TJ Jorgensen added five hits each
in the sweep on Thursday, in which the Kids
improved their league record to a remarkable
27-1.
