Chris Firebaugh and Joe Horvath had seven hits
each as the Street Kids/Easton softball team rolled
to a sweep of Acoustic Audio at Walker Field in
South Bend on Thursday. They won the first game
19-4 and the nightcap, 21-6.
Mark Hershberger added six hits while Jay Jeffery
and Tim Wencewicz both added five hits each in
the win. SKS improved to 48-11 overall, and
21-1 in leagues. The SKS tournament team opens
the NSA Tom Thumb Championship on Saturday
at 9am in Kokomo against Team Elite.
