B3/SKS Players Make Fall League Debut, Help Lead
Kids to 36th Straight League Win

South Bend, IN 8/18/10
Being off for three weeks showed in the box score on
Wednesday night in South Bend but B3/Street Kids player
Mike Bailey did his part to help lead the Street Kids
Softball team to a sweep over Miller Auto, extending their
winning streak in league to 36 in a row.
Bailey went 5-for-7 and drove in five runs with three
doubles while Jay Jeffery had a team high six hits as SKS
improved to 43-1 overall in leagues in 2010. Jeffery also hit
his 46th home run of the season, while Joe Richard added
his 14th and team leader and defending overall MVP Joe
Horvath hit his 72nd of the season. The ageless wonder,
Xave Creary went a perfect 4-for-4 with two rbi's as well.
The Kids (85-22 overall) will return to league action next
Tuesday in Mishawaka at 8pm for a double header
followed by a double header on Wednesday in South Bend.
The tournament team is off until Labor Day weekend, when
they travel to Rochester, Minnesota for the ASA National
Championship.
