B3/SKS Fails to Stop Street Kids Winning Streak
Mishawaka, IN  8/24/10

Having not played league ball since July 23rd, and not playing the best tournament ball lately carried over to Rose Park on Tuesday night as
the B3/SKS team opened the 2010 Fall Season in Mishawaka against "big brother", Street Kids Softball.

This game was not pretty from the start, and the box score shows it, as the SKS team defeated B3, 20-2 and 16-6 in a double header
sweep. First baseman Dave Schoen, who went 4-for-5 on the night, just shook his head during the games.

"Its hard to be on this side of it, thats for sure," the veteran Schoen said. "We aren't playing well right now, but this is still a good team, and we
can turn it around and have a strong finish to 2010."

Overall the team batted a poultry .360, which if this was
major league baseball, that would be impressive. The way
B3 looked on the field, it was hard for even SKS to
understand.

"B3 is a very good competitive team," said pitcher Steve
Schroeder, who was making his 2010 debut with SKS.
"I have seen them play, followed them online, and to see
the way they played tonight, with very little emotion... it
just looked like they didn't want to be there."

The B3 team dropped to 52-37 overall.
