Hardiman, Jorgensen Lead Coed to
11th Straight Win

South Bend-
The Street Kids/RJS/Easton coed softball team beat
Moondogs at Boland Park on Tuesday night 10-9,
improving to 9-0 in leagues this season, and winning their
11th in a row, dating back to the Fisher Memorial
tournament, where they went 4-1 and won the tourney.
Tony Hardiman went 4-for-4 including scoring the game
winner in the bottom of the seventh off a Joe Richard
single giving the Kids a thrilling victory. SKS owner TJ
Jorgensen made his coed debut at Boland Park and went
3-for-3, including a home run.
"It was nice to get out here with the team and play
tonight," said Jorgensen. "This team is fun to watch and
plays really well."
When asked what the biggest play of the night was,
Jorgensen credited Heather Glava for a big play in the
sixth inning.
"Heather running out that fielder's choice in the sixth was
huge," Jorgensen added. "If she doesn't hustle that out,
they turn the double play, and I don't score the game
tying run. If she gets doubled up there, we may not have
had the chance to get Tony and Joe up there to win the
game for us."
Up next for the coed team (13-1 overall) is a double
header Friday night at Rose Park against Green Grass.
