With another win last week against the Super Humans, the Street Kids youth flag football team will look for
one more win, and a perfect undefeated session at SoccerZone.
SK (6-0 this session) beat the Super Humans 28-7, improving their overall record this winter to 8-5,
following a 2-5 first session record.
This game was not one of the prettiest games, but the Kids pulled through. They had plenty of chances to
blow the game wide open but failed to do so, giving the Super Humans every chance to get back in the game.
But credit the defense for keeping the Humans at bay.
"We didn't play our best but the defense stood up," said head coach Joe Richard. "Give credit to the Super
Humans passing defense, which forced us to run the ball more than normal."
Injured starter Carsten Stolz came out to cheer the Kids on, and offered some helpful ideas to the coaches as
well. Stolz broke his arm while skiing last month.
Box Score
