The Street Kids youth flag football team is on fire!
The Kids won their fifth straight game to remain unbeaten in the second session at SoccerZone in Granger
after a 42-7 win over the Browns. The team played great defense and everyone played a big part overall as
the Kids improved to 8-2 overall after going 3-2 in the first session.
It was 14-0 at halftime as both teams started slow, and thats when SK kicked it up a notch, starting off the
second half with a full length of the field play.
"We played great tonight and its nice to see us come together and play some good ball," said coach JR
Shapiro. "These kids are doing really well in this second session."
Head coach Joe Richard was pleased with his teams performance but also praised the Browns receiver.
"This kid made three one-handed catches during the game and it was very impressive," Richard said. "But we
came out on top and we had fun, and thats what matters. Coach Shapiro ran most of the offense today and
he did a great job as well."
