Hybrids Softball of Region 219
Joins the Street Kids Family
South Bend, IN  12/12/2010

Beginning in 2011, the Street Kids Softball family will have a new face representing them

from the 219 region of Northwest Indiana: the all new Hybrids/Rover Plus Nine/Street Kids.

Hybrids, led by their manager Robert James, expressed interest in the SKS family in the

past, but this winter, James and SKS director TJ Jorgensen worked hard to finally put it
together.

"I'm really excited for this team to join because I see the same desire in them that I saw in

the Fort Wayne Street Kids team," Jorgensen said. "I believe that Bob (James) will
represent this organization well and we are proud to have the Hybrids team with the
family. I am looking forward to meeting the players and watching this exciting team play."

James, who played a role in merging Death Clutch, Voodoo and Hybrids, is happy with the
opportunity.

"With the opportunity to get Hybrids and Rover Plus Nine involved with the SKS
organization was a move I could not pass up," said James. "I love the fact that SKS has
a reputation on the field, but my players and I will be honored to be apart of Street Kids
Care. With our success as a first year team we started by winning both leagues we played
in, placing in multiple NSA tournaments, and topping that off by finishing 4th at NSA State,
our team is ready and stronger for the 2011 team. Clayton Miller and Mike Mallino are the
captains again this year and we will be looking forward to getting on the field again."

Hybrids is sponsored in part by Rover Plus Nine uniform company, as well as Pepe's Mexican Restaurant.
