The Street Kids/Suburban softball organization announced today the new Google-based SKS search page,
which allows users to utilize the search page from within the SKS website, but based off the popular search
client, Google.

"I was working with our IT guy on a way to keep the traffic high on our site and he recommended an in-site
search tool," SKS director TJ Jorgensen said. "The goal is to recommend that people use this page as the
home page or start page when they click on their internet browser."

Besides just boosting traffic to the ever popular softball website, Jorgensen said there is no other benefit but
there could be in the near future.

"We have spoken to a couple of corporations who would be interested in a donation to Street Kids Care
based on how many people use the SKS-enhanced search page," Jorgensen added. "We are hoping to
have that worked out in the next several weeks but they want to see how much traffic is run through the
search page before committing."

To view the search page, click
here or visit www.streetkidssoftball.com/search.html. To make that page
your browser start up page, simply visit the internet options menu on your browsers tool bar.

The website also added a new search tool to allow users to locate previous stories and archives within the
SKS website that may not be available online, but are still accessible on the server. That search tool can be
located on the main page of the website.

StreetKidsSoftball.com and all the subsequent pages in the site average over 7,000 hits per day, and
recently hit a record high 13,550 hits in a single day. It is the goal of the organization to reach 500,000
visitors per month on a consistent basis, which could lead to bigger support from sponsors and benefactors
for Street Kids Care.
