after my own experience with Cancer and the
realization of the enormous costs that accompany it.
Besides medical bills, I recognized just how quickly
expenses could add up for the families of the patient.
Lodging, meals, gas, etc. are all items that sometimes
are not accounted for in a budget. These may also be
the last things on a family’s mind while accompanying
a loved one to an appointment, surgery, or treatment.

Support is absolutely crucial in the fight against Cancer. Therefore, it is a goal of the Shane Varga Foundation that no patient is in
absence of supporters due to financial reasons. It is also a goal of the foundation to help relieve some of the financial burdens that
include travel expenses, co-pays, and other medical bills.
